Aggregate 2 VDSL via Bonding and EOIP

Sat Sep 03, 2022 7:30 pm

Hi, we are an ISP and for one of our customers we have to aggregate two VDSL lines. is it possible to use the 802.3ad protocol on the EOIP tunnel? because only balance-rr seems to work. when we activate 802.3ad we only have one port of the EOIP tunnel on active, the other is on inactive. also not the LACP system partner ID. some advice ?

Unfortunately we do not have the direct management of the DSLAM, which is why I am unable to aggregate them upstream. if I simulate or this configuration in the laboratory, however, the 802.3ad lag works, both ports of the eoip tunnel are seen to be active. I took two routerboards, configured 2 eoip tunnels on two different ports, then I created the lag and put the 2 tunnels in the slaves. the lag starts and sees both ports active. However, it must be said that both test routerboards are connected to the same switch (but I have not configured anything in the switch)
