ether1 interface is not working/

Tue Oct 18, 2022 7:14 pm

Hey everyone,

I have this problem where after initial default setup the ether1 interface is not working or offline or i dont know ...
it does get recognized and it is enabled though it doesnt get any signal.
on the DHCP-client it says status 'stopped'
on the interface panel, there isnt a R or S or D

what I tried:
internet and patch cables work on old router.

i assigned the wan port(ether1) to port2,3,4,sfp to check if by any chance port1, and sfp(module), were broken, - none of them works with wan but as a lan port everything is ok

everything is kept at default

Sounds like an ISP or ISP modem issue, config looks okay.'
You will have to explain your WAN connection ISP info in more detail.
