Dummy network for WAN connection

Wed Jan 18, 2023 8:28 pm

The problem
The building I live in has 3 flats but there is only one ISP connection so every flat has its own router connected to the ISP router (double NAT). This worked fine until the ISP changed the subnet of their router to 192.168.0.0/24 which was the subnet I used.
I could change the subnet on my hAP ac² but my network is rather large and reconfiguring every device would take some time. To temporarily resolve this I connected another old router I had to the ISP router and connected my hAP ac² to it. Current setup is:
hAP ac² (192.168.0.0/24) -> my old router (192.168.3.0/24) -> ISP router (192.168.0.0/24)
This works fine as a temporary solution but currently I am limited to 100Mbit by my old router and to be honest this isn't the most elegant solution

The question
Is it possible to configure a dummy network (192.168.3.0/24) on my hAP ac² to eliminate the old router from the setup? How would I go about doing that?

Thank you in advance :)
