CubeG-5ac60ay trafic problem

Tue Feb 07, 2023 11:12 pm

Hello,
I have a link in 60 GHz at a distance of approximately 1Km. My problem is that there are interruptions in the data traffic, which can also be seen in the speedtest graph. I am attaching several images, to get an advice on how to proceed to stabilize the link, possibly to improve it.
Thanks.

The speedtest is also affected by the radio's CPU and can itself be buggy.

It would be better to run a test from devices connected to the radios, not the radios themselves, to determine if the radio link is actually dropping traffic, or if it's just the speed test app on the radios that's occasionally dropping out.

I currently have a 5Ghz link in operation that I wanted to change (PTMP) and the client switched from the 60 GHz solution to the 5GHz solution because it works better for him. Very strange, I say... especially since the 60 GHz link has no drops, and the weather was not bad either, it didn't rain or snow.

What version are the radios on? I've found the 60GHz gear is most stable on 6.49.x.
