WifiWave2 CAPsMAN in rOS 7.8 Stable.. RSSI or Data Rate control?

Wed Apr 12, 2023 11:41 pm

Hi mikrotik forum! I am running a CCR2004-16G-2S+ for my firewall, a CRS328-24P-4S+RM switch, and 2 hAP AX2s for WiFi access points. I am set up with WifiWave2 CAPsMAN and all is running quite well. I have been using Mikrotik for routing and switching for a while, but I am new to playing with this updated version of CAPsMAN. I realize this version is new and in beta and so on, so I'm not here to start a bash fest. it is working great for me, because I understand it is in beta, and things aren't perfect!

My question is, does the current iteration of WifiWAVE2 CAPsMAN in 7.8 have the ability, through CLI or winbox, to set either minimum RSSI or minimum Data Rate values? Just curious as I play around and learn more about what you can and can't do.

Thank you for the tip! I had not even looked at the access list. I will give that a try this afternoon when I'm back home.
