The original fans on the device seem to be this one: https://www.digikey.ee/en/products/deta ... 00/2560520
- Dimensions: 40x40x20 mm
- Wires: 3-pin
- 12V, 0.12A
- RPM: 7600 RPM
- Air Flow: 8.54CFM (14.52 m3/h)
I found two Noctua fans that are the same size:
- NF-A4x20 FLX (3-pin, 5000 RPM, Airfow 9.4m3/h) https://noctua.at/en/products/fan/nf-a4x20-flx
- NF-A4x20 PWM (4-pin, 5000 RPM, Airfow 9.4m3/h) https://noctua.at/en/products/fan/nf-a4x20-pwm
Question:
- Do I have to use the 3-pin fan?
- Or if I use the 4-pin fan the board is able to leverage the PWM feature of the fan?
- Do you know of any other fans that could be a better choice?
