Multi-IP WAN - route VLANs through specific WAN IPs?

Thu Apr 27, 2023 1:32 am

Hi all,

I have a client with a range of 5 WAN IPs on their internet line. They used to have two separate routers using different WAN IPs each, but now we've swapped them over to a Mikrotik, using VLANs and some UniFi switches to separate the networks.

Mikrotik RB5009UG+S running RouterOS 7.8 and the most recent firmware.
The IP address/segment on the WAN port is xxx.xxx.26.138/28.
There are two VLANs and a management LAN:
vlan10 for the office (192.168.1.x/24)
vlan20 for WiFi and some security cams (10.0.0.x/24)

What I want to do now is make it so that both VLANs use their own WAN IP address when going out to the internet. The office at vlan10 should use the xxx.xxx.26.138 address, while guest vlan20 should use xxx.xxx.26.139.

What's a good way to configure this in Mikrotik? I've seen it done via Address Lists on a Mikrotik of which I pretty much inherited the management, but I haven't been able to reverse engineer that setup.
