Hi all,
I hope what I want to do is possible:
I'm running two CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ. For High-Availability, they are connected by a 2x 100 GBit Bond. Servers are LACP-aggregated directly onto the CCRs. As far as the CCRs are concerned, I'm using MLAG for the Servers and downstream connections to two CRS326-24S+2Q+, which act as distribution-switches (due for replacement).
Ideally, I'd like to also bond these two distribution-Switches and make them highly-available too.
However, my experiments with enabling both MLAG on the CRS and the CCRs and then creating a 4-port "High-Availability" LACP-Bond between the 4 devices have been unsuccessful. Each time I try, I start to get a lot of packet-losses.
Is MLAG on Mikrotik currently only able to support single devices that connect to Routers/Switches using LACP-Bonds or is there a way to bond two groups of 2 devices?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Best regards
Colin
