Bidirectional communication is not working

Wed May 24, 2023 11:59 pm

Hi all, dear users and admins, the reason of this message is seeking your kindly support since I am facing some communications issues, the communication is working just in one direction, bewlow the details,

I got a 2011UiAS-2HnD running RouterOS v6.49.8 (stable), and below is my topology:
Tology Mikro.png
Room #1
eth1: 172.16.11.254/32--------------the connection to Modem #2
Brigde: 172.16.100.254/32-----------LAN segment room 1
Wireles: 172.16.88.1/24---------------LAN to wireless users
PC #1 172.16.100.138/24

Room #2
eth1: 172.16.11.1/32--------------Modem # 2 connected to ISP
LAN: 172.16.11.0/24-----------LAN segment room 2 (Wireless and wired users)
PC #2 172.16.11.105

Here is the issue:
Test #1 Ping from PC #1 (172.16.100.138) to PC #2 (172.16.11.105) OK in this test, ping works okay, even I can mount shared folder in the PC #2 and transfer files.

Test #2 Ping from PC #2 (172.11.105) to ip 172.16.11.254 (eth1 mikrotik) get echo reply

Test #3 Ping from PC #2 (172.11.105) to PC #2 (172.16.100.138) Fails

Troubleshoot steps:
In the PC#2 added a static route to network 172.16.100.0/24 via ip 172.16.11.254 ----this address is replying to ping from PC #2, however still is not working.

For the outcome get it from test #3 it could me focus in that is missing a firewall rule to allow traffic from network 172.16.11.0/24, who could throw me a bone here? since I am novel working with Mikrotik.

Appreciate your comments in this matter.
