- Ubiquiti PoE Adapter U-POE-AT providing 802.3at power to port 1. This is supplying 48VDC @ 0.65A
- Ubiquiti U6-Mesh access point drawing power from port 5, max power consumption is 11.4W according to the data sheet
- SFP module for network access (should be unrelated to the PoE stuff)
Everything worked at first, except for an immediate whiff of some magic smoke smell in the air
The hEX was on, the U6 AP worked fine, but there was a RouterOS config issue I had to reset the device for and it never powered back up. Now it doesn't power up at all, not with PoE or from the DC barrel jack.
Would really like to formulate a theory before trying again. My mistake or a problem with the hEX?
