Can't connect to my cloud switch

Thu Jan 25, 2024 7:19 am

I just purchased a CRS310-8G+2S+IN and am unable to connect to my switch. WinBox doesn't detect it when searching for neighbors and my computer is showing that the ethernet port is not connected. I've tried a factory reset by holding down the reset button when powering on and releasing when the power blue light flashes. After I did that however all port LED's are now inactive. Am I missing anything here?

I have one that I use every day. I have right now, port 1 as my input. I am in the process of setting up a full 10gig network so I will move the input to sfp+1. how have you tried to access the switch for setup?

One quick question, Are you using the CRS310-8G+2S+IN as a router or as a switch? You do understand that the default address of the switch is 192.168.88.1?

I'm having similar issues with the exact same device. Did the OP get a resolution? This thing has seemed to have hard bricked and can't be recovered with a reset.

Let's start over. You have a CRS310-8G+2S+IN that you are unable to connect to. Is that correct?
you need to connect a laptop or computer set with thee IP of 192.168.88.10 (or anything other than 1) to any port on the CRS. If that port lights up you have a connection. if you get connectivity open a browser and enter http://192.168.88.1. you should be directed to the setup page of the CRS.

If this dosent work you might have to try Netinstall. If you truly need help just reply to this post.
