Two ISP IN SINGLE MIKROTIK PORT

Wed Jan 31, 2024 3:24 pm

Hello,

My Nikrotik is RB750Gr3 rev r4 Firmware mt7621L

Current configuration of 4 Ports:

1-JAZZ ISP (15MB) p2p link
2-WATEEN ISP (15MB) Radio link
3-CONNECT ISP (50MB) local fiber
4-LAN (192.168.0.0/24)
5-vLan for Wifi (10.10.0.0/24)

Now i have another new ISP connection "Cyber" local fiber provider. but as you can see all ports are full.

now my question is there a way to connect Cyber+Connect on same port no3 ? because the net provider installed an ONU device in which he said i can connect 4 pppoe account at same time. where both cyber and connect account work on same fiber. they create 4 vlan port in ONU device 2 for 2 cyber account and 2 for connect account.

fiber are in ONU and from ONU it came in TPLINK via cat6 wire. (Connect working) as i said this link i putt in Mikrotik port 3.
how can i connect to cyber as well on same port or its not possible ?

please help me.

Managed switch connected to ether4, send as many vlans to switch as required.
On a 5 port switch you will have 4 ports to use. On an 8 port switch you will have 7 additional ports to use.
Use ether5 for ISP.

Cheap managed switches:

You can possibly attach 2 vlan interfaces to ether3, add the vlan's to the WAN interface list.

and then attach your connect ISP pppoe client to one of them (instead of ether3)
And your Cyber ISP pppoe client to the other.

Then plug ether3 into the ONU instead of the TP-Link.

If you know the vlan used for each ISP it is fairly straight forward.

If not, you may need to do some packet sniffing on the link between the ONU and the
TP-Link (before you set above up) to find out what the vlan's are.
You can use the Mikrotik to do packet sniffing, and/or mirroring. (Convenient if you have another mikrotik for this task)

If both fibre ISPs use the same fibre, that the only difference is a different PPPoE user/pass, then yes, no real changes are needed, just create another PPPoE dialer in RouterOS and you are done.

Open the current PPPoE connection, COPY, change the name, user, pass, and Ok.
