To make matters more complex ...
cAP AC is capable of running wave2 drivers. For that you need to upgrade cAP AC to 7.13 at least. Then remove wireless package and add wifi-qcom-ac.
When that happens, Hex doesn't need wireless anymore and can (as from 7.13) use capsman for wave2 devices from the standard ROS-installation.
BUT... you do not HAVE to do this. You can perfectly stay with cap ac on legacy wifi and have Hex control via capsman v2.
Q: why use capsman for only 1 access point ? Quite some overkill.
