I have a RB3011UiAS-RM router (OS 7.14.1) and I am experiencing a surreal situation.
On the local network I have a computer (I9 14gen with a 2.5gb network card) connected to a TPLINK gigabit switch (T2600G-18TS). In the Windows 2022 connection status it appears "connected at 1gb" and when performing a speed test through a LOCAL OpenSpeed Test server the result is this: (LAN speed practically 1gb)
However, if you connect the PC cable directly to the router's ethernet port (in my case I used Ether6) the Speed Test result is well below 1gb, as shown below. Both in Windows and in the Ether6 connection status they appear "connected to 1 gb"
My Ether6 port belongs to a local Bridge.
On
Code: Select all
/interface ethernet print detail
Code: Select all
5 RS name="ether6" default-name="ether6" mtu=1500 l2mtu=1598 mac-address=64:D1:54:85:03:70
orig-mac-address=64:D1:54:85:03:70 arp=enabled arp-timeout=auto loop-protect=default
loop-protect-status=off loop-protect-send-interval=5s loop-protect-disable-time=5m
auto-negotiation=yes

1G-baseT-full
tx-flow-control=off rx-flow-control=off bandwidth=unlimited/unlimited switch=switch2
Is there a possible reason or configuration so that, if connected directly to the port, the speed reaches 1GB?
Thanks in advanced.
