Hi all,

I got on friday my AS-Number and have set up the config on my Mikrotik box(BGP, etc). So everything seems to work, but I have no clue how to test if everything is working fine. How can I test, if some AS-System is announcing my IP's? How can I test my config? How long it takes that all AS-System are announcing my IP's? Do someone have an idea how I can test everything? Thanks in advance for your help.

Be sure you have ROA records so that you can be certain you were able to announce your prefix successfully, check for HE looking glass so that you can traceroute your PI address from various location and also if you are multi home make it sure that no one will use your link to become transit from others that's the first order of business you should do you can do this by learning routing filters.
