Hello everyone,

I'm using a R11e-LTE modem with an RB33G with 6.49.13 and it works like a charm.
I decided to upgrade to routeros 7.15.3 but the problem is that the LTE modem connects with the right APN,
ip is assigned, default route added, interface in running state but no traffic is passed. If I try to ping an external ip I can see
counters increasing/changing on the interface but I see also timeouts only.
Tried to reset to default configuration, upgrade routerboard firmware, resetting again to default etc ... nothing
no traffic is passed. Maybe i could upgrade the modem firmware also but I don't want to do that because there is no way to downgrade
and there is no changelog and the modem is working fine.
The same configuration tested on 6.49.13 is working.
I would like to upgrade to 7.15.3 because it's possible to disable SMS delivery report and this is not possible in ROS6, also modifying modem settings
using AT commands it's not possible to disable these reports.
Current modem firmware is the factory version mikrotik_cp_2.160.000_v015
I noticed also this in the changelog of 7.15.3:
*) lte - fixed R11e-LTE no traffic flow when modem with older firmware version is used;
But the problem seems to be not solved for me.

Any ideas?

I had similar issue on SXT LTE and WAP LTE with R11e-LTE. There was message that there is new version of modems firmware but modem can't download it and no traffic is passed by LTE interface.
To bo honest on WAP LTE I connected it via ETH1 to my home network and made two things. Updated the router board firmware and set NTP Client. Than modem somehow download the new firmware and everything worked. With SXT LTE wasn't so easy and I currenlty don't remember what's helped.

Try with 7.15.0 I have no issues with LtAP that is very similar.

The issue has been solved in Ros 7.16rc5.
