Network two wAP ac LTE kit-s over LTE

Fri Sep 27, 2024 3:57 pm

Hello everyone,

I am trying to set up a network between two Mikrotik wAP ac LTE kit routers using their ether1 ports via an LTE network. My mobile provider has issued postpaid SIM cards that don't have internet access but are pre-configured to create a LAN network.

The first router (MT1) receives an IP address of 172.20.233.125 from the provider, while the second router (MT2) receives 172.20.233.123. Ping between the routers works fine with a response of:
sent=4599 received=4492 packet-loss=2% min-rtt=33ms avg-rtt=203ms max-rtt=985ms
The LTE modems on both devices are assigned addresses with a /32 subnet mask (e.g., 172.20.233.12x/32), which I cannot change.

What I am trying to achieve is to have PC1 (connected to the ether1 port of MT1) communicate with PC2 (connected to the ether1 port of MT2). Despite various configuration attempts, I haven’t been able to set this up successfully.
In att. im sending block diagram for reference.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to configure both routers to make this work?

Thanks for your help!
