Has anyone updated their AWS X86 instance to the latest 7.17 ROS version? Any issues at all?
Thanks!
In my case it was a simple matter of 'if I'm learning how to use Mikrotik's OS in the process of making my home router work, I may as well use that to make the Amazon end work too.' Probably a flawed decision, as there are much better AWS options for providing the VPN server I use it for, but there you are......Just curious, what makes CHR RouterOS attractive at AWS that VPC Security Groups and ACL don't cover?
To answer my own question (after no-one else did), it seems to work fine.Has anyone updated their AWS X86 instance to the latest 7.17 ROS version? Any issues at all?
