how to give unguaranteed bandwidth to some users ????

Fri Feb 25, 2005 1:44 pm

I have a lot of users (>60) and i would like to give to some of them (some ip's or some MAC's) unguaranteed bandwidth flat rate for example 64k...

but it is important to say that i want that this users get max 64kbps if its possible, but if traffic is high then they will share bandwidth with other users and their speed will fall under the 64kbps depending on the traffic...

if i set Tx Rate and RxRate in hotspot profile then they get guaranteed bandwidth and this is not what i want...

i tried simple queue's but this way users also get guaranteed bandwidth....

any clues?????

Look at this thread. If you set the Limit At to 0 and Max Limit to 64k, it should do what you need.
