I installed a setup and I'm concerned about the stats. I would expect symetrical results... pls help.

BTW: each ap is 433 with 2 x sr2 radios and 2 19dbi patches... about 1000 ft apart.

Router 1:
rx-signal-strength: -17dBm
tx-signal-strength: -16dBm
rx-rate: "36Mbps"
tx-rate: "54Mbps"

Router 2:
rx-signal-strength: -17dBm
tx-signal-strength: -19dBm
rx-rate: "54Mbps"
tx-rate: "36Mbps"

The power is too high. It's better to make it -50 to -60.
Make sure you choose quite far frequency for each interface.
Have you try to load the traffic? if there is no traffic, some times data rate goes down.
Have you try to set data rate manually ?

Getting better...

I am using a "Atheros AR5213"
I set the tx-power-mode to card-rates and the lowest it would let me set the tx-power was 13.

here is the update...

rx-signal-strength: -28dBm
tx-signal-strength: -25dBm
rx-rate: "54Mbps"
tx-rate: "54Mbps"

The one rate is still fluxing a little... 48Mbps... 54Mbps...

I was going to shoot for -50dBm but I think I'm at the lowest... Did i over configure this system?

400mw radios... 19db antennas.??

Is there something else to try with the power settings??

Also.. will 2.4G Turbo mode work in this Nstreme2 config?

you can try to set manual data rate. just choose 54 for all links.

Get yourself some dipole antennas.
