I've got a peculiar situation that confuses me. I'm running a 6 mile link with ubiquiti SR5's in the routerboards in turbo mode. It seems the link is deteriorating but that's a different issue. Look at this screen capture and tell me if sense can be made of it. It seems to be telling me there is no transmission but the link is fine because I can pass traffic over it. The other end says -65dB receive strenght . As is shown the Rx CCQ says 0 but that's plainly bogus. The TX signal strenght says 0 but the other end of the link is says this signal is -79dB. Good enough to maintain a 24M bi-directional link. What's up with this, it makes no sense at all.

I would guess it might be a peculiarity of the hardware not being fully supported. We only use R52's and R52H's. In our PtP links I can get the data from both ends fine, unlike your example where you only get the local data. Do you have the same versions of ROS at each end?

The statistics you listed as having a problem with will only show up in you have a RouterOS unit on both ends of the link.

ie.

RouterOS to RouterOS -> full TX/RX statistics
RouterOS to anything else -> can only monitor local Rx signal

Quite correct. But because they stated they had routerboards (plural as opposed to singular) I assumed they were running routerboards at both ends.

Hi , you have terrible low signal lever for SR5 cards on 6miles (it is over 10km?) , what kind of antenna are you using? We have 20km links with R52 (65mW) cards and GRID (28dbi) antennas and signal level is aproximetly -55dbi !!! You have card with 400mW output power!!!!
