Routers wont connect to each other.

Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:40 am

Hi if i set my client router (rb411) to use only 2.4ghz-b and accesspoint (rb433) to use 2.4ghz b/g then they wont connect to each other. I have set the data-rates to 36mbits for g and 1mbits, 2mbits, 5.5mbits and 11mbits for b.

If i set the data rates to default then they connect but ccq is very bad.

If i set both to 2.4ghz-b then they connect. But i realy want to allow 2.4ghz-g aswell.

Is there a reason you did not set the RB411 to b/g mode like the RB433?

The ccq and signal is better in b-mode.

What i did was is to buy a 3meter mast and replaced the antenna with a 5ghz cpe.

cheers
