RouterOS VPN types support

Thu Sep 26, 2013 11:06 pm

Please tell me all the different styles or types of VPN that you really need or want to inserted inside of MikroTik RouterOS.
I personally vote for all 8 types for sure so that from the lowest bottom (private usage) to the highest top
(enterprise class networks) could be profit and each of us get what he is needing.

(You all have full 8 votes if all VPN types are urgent for you)

It would be great if I could use my RB as a client to the Cisco AnyConnect SSL VPN at work.
http://www.infradead.org/openconnect/ is a basic client for linux.

Also IPSEC with virtual interfaces so I can setup my RB to connect to Amazon's AWS VPC/VPN.

1. Better support for L2TP with no IPSEC and plain shared secret authentication method.

OpenConnect is NOT a VPN type/protocol.

Wireguard! and add in an automatic and smart client reset when the server is unavailable for whatever reason.
