I tried to install RouterOS 6.20 on ESXi, but got this exception when I tried to boot up the VM :
/init: can't load library 'libucrypto.so'

How to fix this ?

I also have this issue with virtualbox and RouterOS 6.20

Same issue on a fully dedicated machine - I can install 6.19 but can't upgrade to 6.20 or 6.21. It says its upgrading on restart but comes back to version 6.19. Did anyone work this out?

Ok, I fixed my problem with it by editing the ISO file. For anyone that wants a copy of it, it's here;

No one will use your "custom modified" .iso file, probably you placed some malware in there.

Fully understand the predicament there. It was simply given for you or anyone else to use at will, hence the warning. If you extract the contents of the original ISO file you will see the Linux subsystem for the installer and the *.NPK packages. I replaced the Linux system for the working 6.19 version as 'libucrypto.so' is part of that.

Probably he just removed the services that use the library libucrypto.so like VPN.
Have you checked what is missing on this custom ISO?

Can't install 6.20 on a q6600 pc.
Any update would be helpful. Does it help to change the .so file?

Same issue here with mikrotik-6.20.iso

I compared the local md5 to mikrotik.com/download and they are the same.

Found the same problem when trying to quickly spin up a VM in VirtualBox to do some brief testing.

I'm guessing nobody pinged Mikrotik on this problem with the 6.20 ISO image?
