I have Epson L355 printer that can connect to wi-fi router via WPS or SES (don't know what it is) only. I don't want to replace my RG951G-2hnd to some other only because I cannot connect printer to wi-fi. I beg you to add such functionality and I'm ready to do beta testing as soon as possible.
Is WPS the only way, normal WPA2-PSK password can't be used? WPS was a nice idea but turned out to be insecure by design, and is best to leave disabled.
to use WPS you need cm2 package enabled in RouterOS v6.25. Then in Wireless settings you need to enable WPS. Older devices don't have a easy to use button, so you will have to use the Virtual buton in Quickset.
Windows laptop will see that there is a protected AP which offers WPS. When WPS is chosen, the Windows laptop will ask you to go and push the WPS button (either on the device, or in QuickSet). This allows to connect to a protected AP without knowing the password.
I test the Soft button on wlan interface. This worked correctly.
But my question is, Whether the hard button is on the router?
I test the mode button on mAP-2n, But do not work as WPS button.

future devices will have a WPS button.
for existing products, RouterOS/RouterBOOT update will possibly add this function to the reset button, but currently only the mAP and cAP has easy to use buttons
