is RB1100AHx2 production going to stop?

i dont see it in list of products at mikrotik.com

https://mikrotik.com/products/group/ethernet-routers

but its product page exist

https://mikrotik.com/product/RB1100AHx2

i want a L6 user manager router for a hotel hotspot. so what is after rb1100ahx2 ? i would like the 1100ahx4 (with ssd) but user manager is not supported.

It would appear that it has been discontinued.

You could go for any CCR System, they’re all L6.

and more expensive. CCR1009-7G-1C-PC starts at 425$
i think rb1100ahx2 was around 300$

Replacement of AHx2 is RB1100AHx4, and it should be in the same price range as RB1100AHx2 was.

but i want user manager for paid hotspot.

Are You sure that You need rb1100ahx2? What is the speed of Your Internet connection?

my speed is 30mbps/30mbps up/down. i said about rb1100ahx2 because it is the first L6 model.
buying just a L6 licence is 250$ . so why not to buy rb1100ahx2 for 300$.

Why not to use some cheap rb750gr3 for routing and a chr instance for user manager? It can work for free or at worse you will need a license for 45 USD…
Or even the chr can route /shape for you at that price alone without any other router provided you use the switches around..

Jarda i already think about that and I have install a chr at aws free tier. I want the user manager at L6. what should i do? What licence should i buy for CHR L6?
Is the already installed CHR unlimited user manager sessions? And only speed limited.

You can also use RB850Gx2, it have L5 license level (500 hot-spot users), user manager module, and it will be enough for Your Internet connection.

Please read carefully what i write. I want USER MANAGER not hotspot users. I want to sell vouchers to hotel customers

Chr is limited only by port tx speed, unlimited otherwise. You can apply trial unlimited license and try it for free.

So user manager sessions is unlimited at CHR. That is good news. I can buy a 750gr3 and have user manager at aws. I already test that in my lab and it works good. I prefer the user manager at AWS as stability and never power outage. Only thing i didnt know was the unlimited UM sessions. Thanx jarda

Your welcome. Come back and share your experience later.

And of course i need a static ip for chr at aws. Elastic ip is called if i am not mistaken

Not necessarily. Just one side needs public static ip, the second one can be behind a nat or with changing ip if you run a tunnel from there to the first place. You will need the tunnel anyway in order not to expose your services to outer world.
But static public ip on both sides is always the best.

Right tunnel. From aws chr to my static rb
