I'am recently configuring CAPsMAN with 21 APs. How can I use the 2GHz WiFi channels with best? I know the Ce and eC configuration, but I know there are two frequency what I can use without interference.

How can I set up these 2 channels with correctly on 40MHz?
CH3: 2422/20 eC or 2412/20 Ce
CH11: 2462/20 eC or ???

p.s. you can also leave not configured frequency and the CAPsMAN will manage auto with different channels on AP's.

Ok, but If I would like to configuring the channels with manually and I set the following configuration:

CH1: 2412/20 Ce, What will be the extension channel in this case? The next 20MHz channel which the spectrum is not cover the 2412 MHz? So the extension channel in this case CH5 (2432MHz)?

Or in another words, How can I configure correctly CH3 and CH11 manually?
2412/20MHz Ce and 2442/20MHz Ce?

40MHz channel is contigous, so if you configure it as 2412-Ce, it will actually occupy frequency band between 2402 MHz and 2442 MHz. N.b. all published frequencies refer to channel centre frequency. So essentially it will be CH 1+5.

What you're asking for (CH 3+11) would result in non-contigous channel and would technically be 20+20MHz. Which is rarely supported by clients.

Good practice is to use 1-6-11 at 20Mhz. Also, 802.11 stipulates that any ap at 40Mhz WILL fall back to 20 if it causes problems to others.

There is no such thing as "using without interference" with 2 GHz WiFi!
I would recommend to use 20 MHz channel width only on 2 GHz and use only channels 1, 6 and 11.
But it is likely that there are countless others near you who do not obey that, so it is not even sufficient.

WiFi means interference. You will have to live with it, certainly on 2 GHz.

What about antenna gain? Should I change it as well? How can I check current antenna gain?
