2.0 beta 8 and RouterOS 2.9.30 problems

Anyone have a combination of Dude 2.0 beta 8 & RouterOS 2.9.30?

We seem to have lost most right-click tools and link-rate monitoring.

Nothing works since we upgraded network routers to 2.9.30 except winbox… but only on our Windows machine - Linux seems to be working OK.
Windows installation can’t seem to access any of the RouterOS functions…

:open_mouth:

I upgraded 3 yesterday to 2.9.30, 2 were 532a and 1 is a PC. I just checked
all my right-click tools on those and they all work.

How about Dude? Latest version?

What we see is that all RouterOS functionality was lost to RB532’s, but RB230’s still work…

Yeah, sorry. Forgot to mention it is the dude version 2.0beta8.
I’ve just started to get into all the capabilities of dude, not an expert with the dude by any means.

Ah - ok… which tools did you try?

We found that any link monitoring doesn’t work from RB532’s.

I may have been too hasty in saying ‘all right-click menus’ … but defintely link-monitring is not working…

By link monitoring I take it you mean a link from the mikrotik device to some other device?
I have snmp and/or routeros links from 2.9.30 boxes to 2.9.30 boxes and from 2.9.30 to 2.9.29 boxes and 2.9.30 to 2.8.28 boxes still showing the rx and tx link rates.

hmmmm

What could be the problem here then? I don’t really want to install & reconfigure Dude for about 200 sites AGAIN…

Only appeared directly after upgrading to 2.9.30…

I appreciate your feedback, kpenland…

Tell me - what method did you use to upgrade your routerOS? I used the Dude right-click function. Maybe the problem is related to that?
