2,4 ghz ?

Why mt 2.8.26 works better on 2,4 ghz than mt 2.9.xx ?
Can any explain that ?

Porblems 2.9:

  • on prism - 20 clients connected and ping high (200 pps)

  • on athreos - 20 cli … this same.

    on 2.8 :

  • 40 clients on prism and all ok (400 pps)

  • athreos - not tested.

I’ve 5 rb 500 and i cannot swich it to 2.8 (not supported)

i tested all - cards, pigtails, anthenas and nothing still bad perfomance

FIx it …
could u tell me when will work or i must sell my rb’s ?

set the tx-power-mode and the periodical-calibrate settings to default.

no effect

still bad perfomance

make the support output file when you have this bad perfomance and send it to support@mikrotik.com

typically, 2.9 should work much better in terms of wireless.
