2.5Ghz interfered with 2.2Ghz ?

Dear all,

We are running link on that freq from 2,269Mhz to 2,389 (using superchannel of course), with RB 411A + R52 default TX Power.
Few days ago we were visited by a satellite provider authority saying that we are interfering their licensed frequency operating at 2,500-2525Mhz. (One Way Receiver)

Anyone experience this? Is it true 2.2Ghz to intefere 2.5Ghz ?
I thought that’s a far range for frequency to interfere (creating noise) is impossible.

Advice or suggestions maybe?

the channels are usually 22MHz wide, so I don’t see how you could interfere with them.

That was according to them.
They did checked with spectrum analyzer.

Did Mikrotik, beforehand, tested all mpci, R52, R52H etc, that the frequency produced is actually true as it is specified (or set) in RBs?

of course. they are certified by the FCC, IC and others

Try replace R52 card with new. Basically R52 card have clear signal transmission.

you can always put the routerboard in a metal shielded box, and point the antenna in a direction that doesn’t disturb them

uhm… will try that idea…
