2 x 29 db antenna is it to close?

Every day we are toking about how long we can get, but is it posibal to be to close for big anntennas?
Is i think wirless cards more mw more noise? is this true?

this is my senerio i have 2 29 dbi antennas that are just 0.280 km from etche other, whit 350 mw cards.
is i better to have 65 mw? are smaller anntenna, or i get the best performens?

Any signal over -50 is overkill and will cause problems. Your target should be -60s.

At that distance, you’ll probably be in the -20s or -30s and will have problems. Drop back to an R52 and a 26dBi antenna, could go less than that.

I’ve got two 29dBi with R52H tx power about 15dBm at 6.6 miles (roughly 10-11km) that pull -70 54Mb 24/7 with a bad Fresnel zone.

High power antennas are the best way to go.
Better front to back, less side lobing, smaller beam width, etc, etc.
Price, weight, loading, and realestate being the only true sticking points.

agreed, but if you tx 1mw with a 29dB grid at that distance, signal is still going to be too high. Need an inline attenuator or just use a cheaper grid or panel.
