I am very impressed with this forum and was asked by a client to make a wifi link for backbone internet connection.
The distance is about 40 Km and they want as much bandwidth as possible.
I thought we might have one tower in the middle of the distance.
But my question is which hardware/design can be used to achieve this 600~150 Mbps over 20 Km link(if possible). If this question has been answered before then sorry but i have spent days searching the forum for such high Mpbs rate with no good result.
To have 600Mbps link, you should go for some kind of licensed band. I use dragonwave, 18 and 23 Ghz and have a lot of dual mounted 400Mbps radioes, giving 800Mbps.
Its teoretical possible, to recive With MT Equipment, bundling a lot of links, but in practic, its almoust impossible.

I am trying to get some feeling about the edges of bandwidth capacity in such long distance(20Km) in 5Ghz, Is 300 Mbps doable? is 150Mbps doable? and how many aggrigations links should I use?
