464XLAT support Mikrotik ?

Hi,

I have seen that there is no support for the 464XLAT on Mikrotik products yet, but is there a chance to have at least the CLAT support in 2020 or 2021?
It would be really convenient for CPEs and I think a lot of small ISPs and wISPs are asking for this feature.

Regards,

Hello Guys, any notice of 464XLAT ? ist 2021! whe need think in IPv6 only networks

I would love to see 464XLAT support, but all of the energy with MikroTik right now is getting ROSv7 stabilized. We might see new features like this in Q2 or Q3 of 2022.

+1 would love to see 464XLAT.

+1 for 464XLAT / CLAT support !

now i will say Q2 Q3 but 2023

+1 for 464XLAT support, please.

+1, want to use hAP ax lite LTE6 with sim card provider with ipv6 and unable to get that working

Hello, I’m from Brazil.

Here the VIVO carrier is fully IPV6, and to have IPV4 on it, XLAT/CLAT is required.

We need this functionality on the Mikrotik with LTE modem and on the Chateau 5G AX.

I’m not sure about VIVO Brazil, but most pure IPv6 ISPs support MAP-E (RFC 7597) which lets you tunnel IPv4 traffic using an IPIPv6 tunnel in ROS, for example like this: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/4in6-rfc-2473-support-ipv4-traffic-over-an-ipv6-tunnel/128884/1

+1 would love to see 464XLAT!!

+1 for 464XLAT support

In Canada Rogers a Tier 1 ISP uses 464XLAT in the cellular network … I believe that in the Americas 464XLAT is gaining traction

As more ISPs replace their core networks with IPv6-only the need for tunneling/translation mechanisms will keep on increasing.

Sky Italia and Sky UK are switching to MAP-T and sharing IPv4 addresses across eight or sixteen customer connections - by assigning blocks of ports to individual clients it removes the need for per-connection traffic logging for regulatory compliance, unlike with regular CGNAT.

AFAIK the only client mechanism which can be completely implemented currently in RouterOS is DS-Lite. Others, such as MAP-E, are incomplete as RouterOS doesn’t implement the NAT port mapping for shared IP use, or just cannot be implemented due to the lack of the necessary functionality.

+1 for 464XLAT

Germanys biggest mobile operator Deutsche Telekom supports with 5G NA mode only their IPv6 only APN.
