Just got a paired set of CUBE pro, is working so far.
I would like to have the slave CUBE to get a DHCP IP from the DHCP server sitting behind the CUBE master
Tick the automatic setting (Slave) in quick set menu (STATIC AUTO PPPoE) does not do anything.
Tried to set manual in webfig DHCP client menu…”On slave not allowed”..so not
How to do this ?

Configure DHCP client on bridge (instead of 60G interface).
When individual ports are made members of bridge (in your case 60G wifi and ether ports), they are then "slaves" and L3 config on them is not valid ... DHCP client is such L3 setting. So from the moment port is made member of a bridge, all L3 config should go to bridge interface.
And yes, QuickSet is known to create invalid config sometimes. And is known to break config made in "Advanced" part of WebFig or Winbox. So it's best to avoid using QuickSet after initial configuration is done.

quickset is confusing…
It shows that the slave is running CPE mode and ROUTER
Which is not do….DHCP request from ethernet side of slave are routed over the 60G link and serviced by the DHCP server behind the 60G-master
And DHCP server is not config’e in the slave
The routeros manual says PTP AP BRIDGE and PTP CPE BRIDGE for a L2 link (use case here)
This is the config as delivered as a paired set.

I actually did not use quickset….it was config’ed like that out of the box
But what quickset shows is garbage

The Quickset has ( on v6 ) several choices.
When you open one, you open the chosen template, which has nothing to do with the pre-existing configuration.
Probably It Is this that you experienced.
I didn’t open any template…as I logged in first time I arrived at the quickset page and was expecting that when CPE (template) was indicated that this was the configuration.
But that seems not so..

Yep, likely the CPE is the "default" template (or first template in the list) and it auto-opens when you select Quickset, you can change it (top left), still it has nothing to do with current configuration, it represents a (poorly made) "helper" to create a configuration, but it only works properly IF it is used only once and from a reset device, as it assumes a number of settings that may have been changed and the results of applying the template might be way off.
Rather confusing this “template” thing…
The Master unit is showing “PTP AP BRIDGE” at first logon (still do)
But again that does not mean it follows the setting from that template if some one has change a setting either by CLI or webfig.
I would wish that soon as a setting change is made that field should indicate something like “customized”
