After updating the master of a CUBE 60G pro set
Router board page is saying “Warning: cpu not running at default frequency”
The CPU freq is not different from the slave which still runs routeros 6.49
716MHz

Ros v7 would like speed Auto.
However some platforms (RB5009 is one I think) are apparently slow to ramp up when loaded.
You could try it on Auto, and if ok then fine otherwise, put it back on 716MHz and ignore the message.
Was set to 716MHz, auto set is not possible.
So nothing to do about it other than ignore

Youll have to set device mode to enable change to auto
Device mode ?
I am doing it from webfig

If you updated the ROS then on new versions you MIGHT have limited device mode settings (i have no clue what is the current default for updated devices)
To enable Routerboard settings you can use this command in the shell (via Webfig works too)
system/device-mode/update routerboard=yes
After that you gotta unplug the 60G (or press the mode button).
Then you should be able to change the CPU Frequency.
You can check this for limitations:
I think I will just let it be like it is
It seems to run the cpu clk as with ROS 6 (The slave is still running that)
