I would like to disable notifications for certain devices.
In my network i also added the workstations of users, which i do not want to be warned about when they are offline.
Is there a way i can do that?
ok, let’s refrase that…
What i did was put from the network map settings as a global setting to probe and notify, obviously for any device service on the map…
When i disabled that i had no notifications for all the devices.
So i either have to implicitly define probes and notifications for all the devices i am interested in being notified (too many) or there should be some kind of exception button for certain devices (which there isn’t).
Or i could create a different map for the workstations only, but i don’t want to do that…

go to map where are the devices about which you don’t want to be notified
about and select them one by one (while holding ‘Ctrl’), then right click and
choose ‘Settings’. Go to ‘Polling’ tab. Enable ‘Use Notifications’ checkbox
and make sure all notifications are unchecked in notifications list. Press
‘Ok’.
Now dude will have specific notification list (empty) for each of selected
devices set.
