I have not bothered to add custom MIBs in the past, for I have not needed them. Today, I added one from the manufacturer. The problem is, it is greyed out in the interface and does not seem to be used.
What am I missing?

Only guess would be there is another dependent mib missing. I have not installed the soletek mib.
I have some excel-250 bridges I use, I only monitor RSSI directly with the oid. I use oid_column to eliminate the “addressing” they add to the oid. (This probe returns the rssi even though the oid is much longer and ends differently on every bridge.)
function name: w_rssi_s
code: if(oid_column(“1.3.6.1.4.1.2890.7.6.2.1.5.6”, 10 ,5),oid_column(“1.3.6.1.4.1.2890.7.6.2.1.5.6”, 10 ,5),“False”)
probe name: rssi_soletek
available: w_rssi_s()<>“False”
error: if(w_rssi_s()<>“False”, if(w_rssi_s() > -70,“”, concatenate("Bridge Trouble = ", w_rssi_s())) , “Can not read status of Soletek bridge”)
value: w_rssi_s()
The values in the oids don’t look right if you snmp walk but they are correct when used in the probe.

I stil cannot get their MIB to work, but your function gets the most important info for monitoring. THANKS.
How do you like these units? Are they performing as well as their specs say they do? Are they better than a UBNT or MTK backhaul?
They are inexpensive and reliable but they could use a revamp. The clamp for the antenna is really poorly designed and can easily be replaced with a standard bar clamp which we did for most of ours. The throughput is good but I need to do more speed tests for new 250s we installed in the last couple weeks. I have two sets at 7 miles and they are always staying connected. Interference is our only problem which is unique to a different link. Which really doesn’t count.
