I would like to get an automatic email alert when a Canopy access point on our system reboots. What would be the best way to go about this?
Try to make a link from a Mikrotik positioned just next to your Canopy kit on the same frequency.
Enable Watchdog Ping Timer.
When the Miktotik sucessfully stays UP and the link is working, then your Canopy kit is dead.

You can test this setup very easily with a high-powered rifle and explosive bullets, although you need a very good aim and the ability to Run very fast (or Hide really well).
