Good day. Returning to the issue with PPPoE on routerboard device. Given that the model is still on sale, and the PPPoE protocol is used on many ISP access network, the question is very relevant. The essence of the problem: on the router RB493AH, ROS 6.35 (tried as 6.37.2) are constantly happening drop the PPPoE session. According to debug, the loss lcp echo-reply router makes reference echo-request with a time interval of one second or less, that the essential boot BRAS does not always give an opportunity to time to get the echo-reply, and accordingly router closes the pppoe-session, even though the connection between them and the BRAS does not break. Since this problem is not solved by any settings, a big request to the masters devs make timeout between resend echo-request on loss of echo-reply at least 10 seconds or allow the option to change their own, since the normal operation PPPoE-client simply does not exist and no settings BRAS is not compensated. For its part, is ready to provide any detailed information.
