Hi,

Is it possible to change the eSIM without removing the device from the pole?

I noticed that MikroTik Connectivity allows free eSIM activation, but it appears to be a one-time feature. What happens if my data plan expires and I need to switch to a different eSIM? Wouldn't that be impossible without an active internet connection?

You need an active internet connection to activate an eSIM. That is a hard requirement.

So service through MikroTik Connectivity works only one time at first use?

Ok so it possible to activate eSIM if I share mobile hotspot from my phone to my home network where MikroTik device is attached as a WAN.

Sorry for dumb questions but I'm new at eSIM deviesd and want to know everything befor buying :slight_smile:

Key thing of those eSIM changes is because new prepaid card with unlimited data plan cost way less than monthly plan. But that price (7.5eur) is only for three month. So change eSIM every three months needed :slight_smile:
