Morning, Anyone else finding their AWS machine won’t update beyond 7.20.2?
Clicking on Check for Updates shows the latest 7.20.6 (at time of writing) then downloads the update but won’t apply it. It wouldn’t upgrade to 7.20.5. either, if that helps.

You can upload npk file to the VM and reboot for upgrade.
Are you sure it's licensed? The free CHR does not allow upgrade.
Right! And when you thought you licensed it, you may have made a mistake and have to install it again and follow the license procedure correctly…
Bingo! It was exactly that! Thank you! My perpetual P10 licence had expired (??). Thanks also to Bartosz, because in the process of uploading the npk file, which I noticed was extremely slow, then trying to to find the resulting upload, the tab adjacent to the files tab then told me to check my licence. Might go some way to explain why the VPN has been so unreliable recently, although I’ve not had time to delve into that yet.
Aside from incorrect procedure during licensing, an expired license can also be because outgoing connects to the MikroTik license server have failed.
I think it was a simple matter of the licence needing renewing. I see it now tells me I have to do it again in January (I must make a note in the diary!)
Yeah but the license normally renews automatically when the CHR has internet access.
It connects to license.mikrotik.com (159.148.147.244) port 443. Maybe you need to check your firewall?
