Bandwidth Test maximum speed

I do Bandwidth test on two RB 450X4 (Gigabit interface) direct and use TCP protocol, but the result only 450Mbps. And I only do Bandwidth test on two CCR1036 (Gigabit interface) direct and use TCP protocol, but the result same with RB450X4 to, only 450Mbps.
Question:

Is that have Bandwidth test limitation on MikroTik? Cause when I use iperf on client trough MikroTik Router (Both of RB450X4 and CCR1036), the result about 600Mbps.
How about maximum speed that can be reach on RB450X4 and CCR1036?
What MikroTik router type that can reach about 900Mbps-1G Speed?

please make sure that you are using latest RouterOS versions. Btest has gone from single core process to multicore.

Hi, Yes I already using the latest RouterOS version, result still same. The bandwidth between 2 routers only reach 450mbps. There are no setting in firewall or others.
I also try to use iPerf for test the bandwidth and increase the mtu to 9000 (on CCR), the result touched 600mbps,

Theoretical can i get pure 1 Gbps bandwidth between 2 CCR 1036 routers? If cannot, please tell me which type of Mikrotik that support pure 1 Gbps bandwidth?

Test through the routers using iperf3, not on the routers.

Multi-core support for bandwith test is added in 6.44beta versions, you can try with them. Personally I like using “/tool traffic-generator”, works well. Of course for true results you shouldn’t generate traffic on the test device itself. Two “1036” are easily able to achieve 1Gbps between one another.
