Best Language/Stack for Real-Time MikroTik PPPoE ISP Management System

Hello,

I am planning to build a custom PPPoE management system for a MikroTik network. The system needs to:

  • Manage PPPoE users, profiles, and queues

  • Track active sessions in real time

  • Monitor user activity, upload/download traffic, and session history

  • Store persistent usage logs in a database (even if router restarts)

  • Automatically suspend or reactivate users based on Paid/Unpaid status or expiry date

  • Optionally support SMS/email notifications and payment integration

  • Show dashboards, charts, and usage history

I am considering the following technology stacks:

  1. Python + FastAPI – good for scalable ISP systems, automation, and real-time tasks

  2. PHP + Laravel – good for quick development and simple admin panels

  3. Node.js + Express – good for real-time dashboards and monitoring

Which language/stack would you recommend for best real-time synchronization with MikroTik, reliability, and ability to handle user tracking, usage logging, queues, profiles, and payment-based suspension?
