Broken CHR Free Limit of 1Mbit bandwidth ???

Hallo.

As a fresh novice Mikrotik (probably future) user, first what about I was interesting was bandwidth management.
Also I downloaded CHR version for creating virtual laboratory :slight_smile: (and created few Tiny Core Linux PCs behind CHR instance)
I begun to play with HTB and queues - looks well ! (except it would be good to have MAC lists as many many times asked for…)
Then I tought it would to be a good idea to have the HTBs with Proxy combined - to achieve beter downoads for frequently used data for “thinned” users (banned people don’t respecting rules).
And I spotted, that when I use Web Proxy, that the limit of 1 Mbit max. bandwidth is not more valid…

It is a bug in kernel or some CHS default rule / chain ?

CHR without license is 1 Mbit per interface i believe. So my guess is you have no license?

Nice catch. We’ll check. You can keep using it, but I would appreciate if you did buy a license eventually, if you find CHR useful
