BUG? RB260GSP/CSS106-1G-4P-1S, SwOS 2.16: Port Isolation and Port Mirroring not working at the simultaneously

Hello everyone.

If forwarding of port 2 (for example) to port 5 is prohibited, then it is prohibited, but if we enable mirroring of incoming and outgoing traffic from port 2 to port 5, then the connection between ports 2 and 5 starts working.
See screenshots:

At the same time, if you make a mirror of another port, not number 2, then the connection with number 2 does not appear.

Traffic mirroring and forwarding are different actions. Mirroring is intended for monitoring and debugging purposes and should not affect port isolation.

version 2.16 for new RB260GS(CSS106-5G-1S), new RB260GSP(CSS106-1G-4P-1S) - is last published version on https://mikrotik.com/download

Please don’t leave us guessing your configuration. You show some ping tests, but no idea what devices and ports you are pinging from and to.

  1. Port2 connected to 192.168.1.10 - far router with dhcp and dns server etc… other devices disconnected from router for the duration of the test.
  2. Port5 connected to laptop. (The laptop has only one internet port)
  3. All other ports on the switch are not connected to cables. This can be seen in the screenshots.
  4. “complicated” (including VLAN) configurations are not used. There is no tagged traffic. (Even if there was such traffic, it should not affect the behavior of the isolated port)

The switch is new and freshly bought, I discovered this during the initial setup. There are minimal non-default settings. Even the switch address was not changed from 192.168.88.1

192.168.1.2 - laptop static address
for connect to 192.168.88.1, reconfigure and screeshots i set other network settings on laptop (192.168.88.2) and restart this laptop network interface.
