can I change winbox port 8292? to 1111 ex?

can I change the port that is used by winbox?
I don’t want it to be 8292

can it be done?

It is normally 8291 but it can be changed in /ip service

but now I can’t go win into the router

You have to add a colon and port number after the ip you are connecting to.

Example: 192.168.88.1:12345

but I have 2 questions mow :

  1. how can I change also the port that work with the MAC Add?(I can still enter the router with port 8291)
  2. Is it possible to change the Winbox program that the default will be the port I want?
    so I don’t need to write 10.0.0.1:12345 ? only 10.0.0.1?

default ports cannot be changed for mac-winbox and mac-telnet

however possible configuration options are exposed at ‘/tool mac-server’

and what about make my port the default port for winbox?
I don’t want to write at winbox 10.0.0.1:12345 - only 10.0.0.1 (and I will change in the router the winbox port)?

winbox loader will always connect to default port by default. However you can save connection settings and use those later on. (save button on winbox loader)
