Cannot see the link info when using snmpv3 profile on dude

hello all,

I using dude version 3.6.

When i use v1_public profile in server configuration I am able to see all my nodes example all my routers.
My rx and tx info is also visible.

I have since updated all my router to snmp version 3 , also i have create a new profile on dude to
incorporating snmp v3.
Now i only able to see all my cisco routers links where the rx and tx info is display is
only show interface.intbitrate and interface.outbitrate respectively.
I also notice that when i click on link settings the interface is showing numbers .
example with the default v1_public profile the correct interface type is visible (serial 0/0
ethernet 0 or ethernet 1 etc)

I would grateful if anyone can assist me.

Regards

Use SNMPv2 to see the information about all links.

hello Sergejs,

With snmpv2 I am unable to provide the relevant auth and encryption credentials to connect
to the routers.

Jomo

Is support for dynamic changes planned ? At this time we need to restart the dude service each time we do a meaningful change…
