Can't detect Mikrotik SXT

Hi Sir/Ma’am, my name is marco. i just want to ask for any help regarding my Mikrotik SXT. i installed Mikrotik SXT. first i can access it via winbox in my laptop but suddenly my winbox stop and shutdown. when i open it i can’t access my SXT. i tried to refresh my winbox but still i can’t detect my SXT. i tried to reset it using the reset buttom but still i doesn’t appear in my winbox.

i just want to ask what happen to my Mikrotik SXT and how can fix it.

Hi, try to follow this steps:

1.- Check that ethernet cable are correctly connected to your laptop and you have “link” with your SXT
2.- If cable is ok then power off your SXT for some seconds, press RESET button inside SXT and power up your antenna with RESET button pressed. When USR led begins to flash wait 2 seconds and release RESET button.
3.- Wait for about one minute and try to connect to your SXT using Winbox
4.- If no success after this steps, close winbox then go to "C:\Users<YOUR USER>\AppData\Roaming" find and delete “Mikrotik” folder and repeat step 3.

Check you cable if it’s ok, then check your IP configurations, if it’s on static change it to dynamic configuration, after doing that check if you are assigned an ip address at the range of 192.168.88.0/24 network . By default if your mikrotik device is reset to factory default you should have an IP address in the range of 192.168.88.0/24. Also did you upgrade the version of your router OS, if yes make sure you also have the latest winbox to access it. Note: when powering the sxt you should have beeps 2 times - meaning it is ready for you to connect. If you don’t have beeping for 2 times then maybe you mistakenly reset to netinstall mode.
