Capsman DHCP

Hello:
I have two mikrotik in my house to configure the wifi by capsman. I want a CAP to use a range of different IPs. I can do this?

Yes you can (but the real questions are…why use CAPsMAN and why use different IP range?).
Please give some context on what you try to accomplish.

I think that CAPsMAN allows me to better control the wifi network. I want to have two IP ranges to protect my wifi network. In my business I have two Wi-Fi networks, one for my use and one for my clients. Currently, I have two wifi networks with different addresses. I thought that with CAPsMAN it would be easier but I’m still wrong

CAPsMAN is definitly more complex, but once you understand it it can help you.

Different IP addresses won’t bring any security for you, you might want to dive into the world of VLAN’s:

Be aware that you have to add firewall rules manually to isolate the different VLAN’s

If you route it and VLAN it… its not that bad.

I have configured CAPsman, and it works I have 3 CAPs in the network and two SSID (CAP1 and CAP2=Rom1,CAP3=Rom2). How do I add a DHCP? With 1968.1.200.1 to the SSID Room2

You put it on the router.

But do I have to create a new bridge to run DHCP? And it tells me that I can’t delete the old one because it’s dynamic

When you use caps-man… you put all the configuration on the router/caps MANAGER.

Where should you see that option? I don’t see it.
Yes it is here it is already activated
