Whenever I reboot my main router my CAP is no longer listed in CAPsMAN. I have to turn CAPsMAN off/on on the CAP to get it to show in my main router list. I know this is something basic I’m missing, but I can’t find a solution through searching. It is a pain because it essentially defeats the whole point of centralized management.
On CAPs check (and post) output of /interface wireless cap print … could be that discovery interface is not yet enabled when cap client starts …
Which ROS version are CAPs running?
/interface wireless cap print
enabled: yes
interfaces: wlan2,wlan1
certificate: none
lock-to-caps-man: no
discovery-interfaces: bridge,bridge
caps-man-addresses:
caps-man-names:
caps-man-certificate-common-names:
bridge: bridge
static-virtual: no
ROS 6.43.8 Stable
Interface “bridge” is listed twice… That look suspicious. Fix that and try again.
I would assume that is one for each wlan interface.
